PUBLIC HEARING ON THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE SCHOOL TO EXCEED 2% TESTING LIMITATIONS PER R.C. 3301.0729

Senate Bill 3, effective March 16, 2017, limits the cumulative amount of time spent on the administration of state and school-wide assessments to 2% of the school year and limits the cumulative amount of time spent taking practice or diagnostic assessments used to prepare for state and school-wide assessments to 1% of the school year. A proposal has been made to exceed this time limitation in order to provide all students enrolled at the School with an appropriate education.

The Board will accept up to 5 minutes of public comment regarding the proposal to exceed the 2% testing time limit.
