Where Curiosity Takes Flight: Tuition-Free Kindergarten Enrollment for 2026 is Open

Choosing the right kindergarten is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your child’s education. You want a school that nurtures curiosity, encourages exploration, and provides a safe, supportive environment—without the cost of tuition.

Allowing Young Learners to Fly

At our school, kindergarten is where curiosity truly takes flight. We believe young learners thrive when they are encouraged to ask questions, explore their interests, and learn through hands-on experiences.

Our kindergarten program offers:

High-quality, standards-aligned instruction that builds strong foundations in reading, writing, and math

· Safe, welcoming classrooms where children feel supported and confident

· Hands-on learning activities that spark creativity and problem-solving

· Plenty of room to play, supporting healthy social and physical development

We focus on educating the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Why Choose Us?

Families choose Eastland Preparatory Academy because we offer:

· Tuition-free enrollment

· A strong emphasis on student safety and well-being

· Engaging, developmentally appropriate learning

· A supportive school community that values family partnerships

Our classrooms are designed to help children feel excited about learning while developing independence, confidence, and strong relationships.

If your child will be entering kindergarten in Fall 2026, now is the time to apply. Kindergarten seats are limited and tend to fill quickly!

School Board Votes to Discontinue High School Program

July 19, 2024

Dear Eastland Prep Families,

We wish to inform you of an important decision that was made for our school community at the school board meeting this past Wednesday. After much analysis and deliberation, our school board voted to discontinue high school at Eastland Preparatory Academy (Grades 9-12).

When parents approached us three years ago with the request to open a high school, our hope was to build a full EK-12 school system that would be engaging for Eastland students and convenient for Eastland families. The school board agreed to pilot a high school program, however, lower than expected student enrollment has caused financial challenges. As you can imagine, operating a full high school program with robust student activities, school traditions, and extracurricular programs requires more funding than it does at lower grade levels. For this reason, the school board decided to discontinue the program at this time.

At the school management level, we support the decision to operate as an EK-8 school starting this fall despite having mixed feelings. On one hand, our Eastland Prep faculty and staff will miss our high school students. On the other hand, we recognize that this is the right decision for our students who deserve the best possible programming. We are confident we can operate a sustainable, elementary and middle school at Eastland Prep with thriving curricular and extracurricular programming for our EK-8 students.

On the heels of this decision, our administrative team is now transition-planning which includes the following:

  • We will host a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, July 23rd at 6pm to support high school families with this transition. To join us on Microsoft Teams, click here & use Meeting ID: 282 043 523 910 & Passcode: wP45WZ
